On 29th July the main events of this year’s Danube Flow –Danube’s calling ‘13 series of programmes ended with “Danube Day” in Budapest. Similarly to last year we organized our events with our partners together on the Danube embankment on special days.
Danube Flow - Danube Calling! 2013 aims to draw public attention to our beautiful river, the Danube, by organizing events and installing various public meeting spots by the Danube banks. In 2013 the program's main focus is the environmental education, rehabilitation of the river banks, eco-tourism and cooperations. The main event of the flow is the Danube Day held June 29 every year. The program aims to help local communities to organize Danube-related events.
Danube Flow - Danube Calling! 2013
On the 11th of March, at Brody Studio we have launched our programme for 2013. Besides our partners and sponsors, we invited representatives of other organisations who have some relation with the Danube.
We have successfully organized the Danube Flow program planning workshop on Oct 5-6 2012 in Budapest. First day took place in L'Office and we moved out to the Danube bank on the next day. The results and experiences of this year's programs were presented during informal presentations.
We believe that these experiences are worth to be shared with others in the form of a common thinking process about our main topic, the Danube.
